Head of Digital Integrations

Job description

ERIKS Digital is looking for a Head of Digital Integrations  for our Amsterdam office! 

As the head of digital integrations, you are responsible for the vision and strategy of how we connect across the ERIKS global ecosystem - both externally with customers & suppliers and internally between key digital platforms. ​

You will be responsible for driving the strategy, implementation and onboarding of these integrations. Potentially with a new team lead by you.​

You will be in close contact with customers and suppliers to better understand them, analyse their needs and drive adoption.​

You will work closely with the engineering team responsible for setting up the integrations, such as EDI and API connections.​ Together with the platform team, you work on technology decisions that support the digital integrations strategy.​

Your responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of key decisions and the decision-making processes around integrations. You will set up clear governance to decide which external parties ERIKS will integrate with.​
  • Establish the vision and strategy for digital integrations with customers, suppliers and procurement platforms like Ariba, Coupa and Tradeshift.​
  • Drive the ERIKS business from a decentralized approach across countries for integrations to a centralized approach. This includes establishing common operational processes, common governance and potentially building & leading a new team to achieve this.​
  • Work with commercial and procurement teams to identify and assess opportunities for integrations with customers and suppliers.​
  • Explore how the business can make use of new technology to better integrate with our customers and suppliers.​
  • Ensure the sales organisations are aware of the latest developments in 3rd party integrations at ERIKS and make sure they have the knowledge to sell the integration solutions to customers.​
  • Coordinate closely with the engineering team for digital integrations, to agree on the roadmap​
  • Work with the EDI analysts and e-business managers in the different countries to ensure there is a common approach to integrations and that onboarding of customers is efficient and scalable.​
  • Drive the adoption of integrations with customers and suppliers in the markets that are less mature when it comes to implementing solutions.​


  • Master's degree / Bachelor's degree​
  • 5+ years experience in all kind of integration methods and platforms like, Mulesoft, Bizztalk, dell Boomi and SAP (C)PI.​
  • Deep understanding of the End2End process in a B2B market.​
  • Experience in API management and product development. ​
  • Excellent communication skills across all channels and all levels ​
  • Can demonstrate knowledge and experience of integration trends and standards like Peppol. ​
  • Ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.​
  • Significant contribution to, and proven delivery of, digital strategy and business cases. ​
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP and Microsoft CRM systems ​
  • Experience in project management or leading a team is a plus
